The international standard ISO 13485 specifies the requirements for a quality management system that can be used by an organisation involved in one or more levels of the pharmaceutical industry’s life cycle, including design and development, production, storage and distribution, installation, servicing, final decommissioning and disposal of medical equipment or the provision of associated activities (e.g. technical support).
